What is Spray Foam?

Spray foam insulation is an insulation and air barrier material that seals walls, floors and ceiling cavities against air movement. Some areas of use include spaces around electrical outlets and light fixtures, as well as where walls meet windows and doors.

There are different types of Spray Foam Insulation by Huntsman that we offer.

Classic Plus

Icynene Classic Plus is a high R-value open-cell spray foam that achieves R-22 in 2x6 wall assemblies. Suited for use in residential interior applications, the superior performance of Icynene Classic Plus is ideal for builders in areas requiring a higher R-value to meet the latest building codes.

HEATLOK HFO

Combines an R-value of 7.4/inch with a maximum 6.5” lift per pass. It leverages Honeywell’s Solstice® HFO Liquid Blowing Agent technology, which boasts a GWP of 1 (99.9% lower than traditional blowing agents).

Loose Fill Insulation

Johns Manville Blown-In Insulation
Johns Manville Formaldehyde-free Climate Pro blow-in loose-fill fiberglass insulation is a premium alternative to cellulose. It‘s blown into attics, nonconforming spaces and hard-to-reach areas, like corners, edges, and around framing. When applied to the recommended thickness and specifications, it improves energy efficiency. Unlike cellulose, it won’t settle, decay or provide food for animals or microbes. It’s effective for the life of the home.
Typical Use
  • Attics – can be installed up to a R-70 over ½“ (13 mm) ceiling drywall without exceeding ceiling weight limits.
  • Nonconforming spaces – insulation sprays out of the hose several feet, filling in large areas and small gaps quickly and completely.
  • Wall cavities – can be installed in walls using the Blow-In-Blanket System (BIBS).
Fiberglass Batts
JM Fiberglass insulation works in every room and space in your home, with R-values ranging from R-11 to R-38 to ensure there’s a solution for every project. We’re proud to offer the only complete line of certified formaldehyde-free fiberglass home insulation.
Loose-fill
Loose-fill cellulose can be blown into attics, nonconforming spaces and hard-to-reach areas, like corners, edges, and around framing. When applied to the recommended thickness and specifications, it improves energy efficiency. We use an all-borate, low dust, high quality product.

Rockwool (Formerly know as Roxul) is North Americas largest producer of stone wool insulation.

Rockwool AFB mineral wool batt offers an excellent insulation to walls and floors where acoustical performance and fire resistance are primary concerns.

Other Services We Offer

Removal and disposal:

We remove existing fiberglass or blown in insulation. We're equipped with industrial vacuums to remove old blown in insulation for a fast and easy clean up.

Insulation removal can be a messy and time consuming job. However, homeowners are frequently faced with this challenge for any number of reasons. Rodent infestations or water damage often require insulation be removed so that damage can be contained and repaired. Wet insulation can breed mold, while rodents spread disease and can cause structural problems. If mold or rodent problems have persisted for a while, precautions need to be taken so that contaminants do not become airborne and spread throughout the house when the insulation is disturbed.

Air Sealing

In addition to installing new upgraded insulation we also provide our Air Sealing service.

What is it?

This service provides the home or business with additional money saving features.

We caulk and seal all light fixtures, outlets & exposed windows and doors; thus increasing efficiency while reducing the money expended on maintaining a consistent zone of comfort. Our Air Sealing service helps keep the treated environment cool in the summer and warm during the winter months.
